1st batch of Basic Unit Leaders Training Course 2022 started with a total of 101 participants of three batches from different scout groups across the Maldives. This training started on 16th May 2022, and participants are expected to complete the training by July 2022.
Basic Unit Leaders Training Course (BULTC) is a course for adults who wish to engage with the youth and to deliver the youth programme. This training has participants who aim to become leaders of pre-cub section, cub-scout section and scout section as well.
This is the first BULTC conducted under the new and restructured course outline which was designed to align with the 2020 WOSM wood badge framework. Coursework consists of modules delivered via online and participants are required to complete the related assignments. Practical sessions are conducted in a 3-day outdoor camp during end of the course.
Led by course director Mr. Ashraf Waheed, 11 trainers of National Training Team will teaching in this course.
