Message of Condolences to the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association

The President of The Scout Association of Maldives, Mohamed Nazeef has sent a message of condolences to Yar Muhammad Rind, Chief Commissioner of Pakistan Boy Scouts Association, following the devastating floods across Pakistan. His message reads as follows:

We are deeply saddened to learn about the loss of lives and the widespread damage and destruction to residences, critical infrastructure, and livelihoods due to widespread monsoon floods caused by extremely strong monsoon rains across Pakistan, particularly in Sindh and Balochistan.

At this time of distress, the Scout Association of Maldives along with the people of the Maldives extend our deepest condolences to the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association and the brotherly people of Pakistan. We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to relieve the sufferings to those affected, especially to the grieving families and the injured.

In this difficult moment, our thoughts are with the people of Pakistan, and especially those Scouts and their families who are coping with the disaster. We are humbled by the tenacity and courage you are showing in the face of such adversity.

We also take this opportunity to reiterate the friendly and long-standing relations between the Scout Association of Maldives and the Pakistan Boy Scouts Association. Please accept, the assurances of our highest consideration.
