The Adult Support Committee of the National Scout Committee has endorsed and appointed Mr. Mohamed Habeeb as an Assistant Leader Trainer (Wood badge 3 beads) on 10th une 2023, at the closing ceremony of the Basic Unit Leaders Training Course – Residential Camp.
Mr. Mohamed Habeeb, attended and completed the Course for Assistant Leader Trainers organized by Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia (Scout Association of Malaysia) from 17th – 23rd August 2019 in Selangor Malaysia.
Habeeb is a Member of the Adult Support Committee of the National Scout Council and a Member of the National Training Team of the Scout Association of Maldives. He has supported the Basic Unit Leaders Training Course Residential camp that was held in Farukolhufushi from 1st – 3rd June 2023 as a facilitator of the camp, and he has also been the Scout Section Unit Leader (mentor) and facilitator (supporting session delivery) at the ongoing BULTC residential camp that was held in HDh. Hanimaadhoo from 8th – 10th June 2023. He has contributed his knowledge and experience in the planning and execution of both these BULTC Camps.
The Scout Association of Maldives appreciates the service of Habeeb in the development of adult leaders necessary to deliver scouting in the Maldives. He has proven himself to be an asset to the scouting community, especially in training of adults, and this recognition would not only acknowledge his exceptional achievements but also serve as an inspiration to others.
