MY SCOUTING ADVENTURE

I began my scouting journey in 1996 as a Cub Scout, and for the past 27 years, I have remained dedicated to this wonderful experience. My first international scouting experience was in 2007 at the 21st World Scout Jamboree, where I truly grasped the incredible diversity and strength of our movement. In 2009, I was honored to receive the President’s Scout Award, the highest award in the Scout Section in the Maldives. That same year, I was also recognized as one of the 5 Outstanding Scouts in the Asia Pacific Region.

My engagement in environmental advocacy has seen me actively participating in various initiatives, collaborating with dedicated teams within Civil Society Organizations and Government-led projects in the Maldives. Together, we’ve developed, implemented, and evaluated projects aimed at fostering a positive impact on our environment.
